My wife (a nurse) was talking to the daughter of one of her patients. I don't know how they got on this subject, of my interest in coins. But, the daughter just gave my wife a plastic baggie full of coins her family had brought back to the states from their vacations. I've looked through it rather quickly, but there are coins from Denmark, Germany, Italy, France, and England to name a few places. All the coins appear to be minted from the late 50's into the 70's. I can't wait to find the time to sit down and go through them.

Doesn't anyone know of a good reference book that would contain these coins?

Thanks,
Tim

The Standard Catalog of World Coins would be a good place to start.

Here is a web site that also might be helpful:
