Has anyone ever seen this before? I posted a picture of the case too but all I know is that the sceptre is the Sceptre with the Crown and that the box also says Royal Mint on it. It's also very hard to get a good picture of because it is so reflective. I know that its not currency but I was just wondering if anyone could ID it. Thanks so much

Also, I should mention that I have tried searching for everything about this coin but I can't find anything. And also on the edge of the coin it says "Mary Francis Lindsley" I have tried searching that name but nothing comes up

Googling the exact phrase "International Institute of Community Service" comes up only with CVs of three people claiming this honour for themselves. With a name like that, I strongly suspect it's one of those "mail-order honours" that was fashionable a few decades ago - send them money and they'll send you a medal with your name on it.

You say it's from the " Royal Mint". Frankly, it looks too cheap 'n' nasty for a Royal Mint (Great Britain) medal. Can we see a pic of the actual name as it appears in the box?

So my camera won't work but I found this picture. It looks exactly like that symbol and it is in the same place inside the box

Well, there's a Mary F. Lindsley who was some kind of poet back in the 60's and 70's...Maybe somebody awarded this to her? How'd you come by it?
