i always found it odd that this guy is so thin
is it just a drier coin?

it only weighs 1.9 grams

drier coins normally have a rolled edge think it may be a belt sander job

I have a 194x Mercury dime the same exact way, weird stuff some people do.

a lucky coin carried in someones pocket every day normally they tend to be 1/2s or silver dollars but I supose someone could use a dime

the OPs coin is definitely PM damage where someone sanded it down with something. They almost sanded it all the way down to the copper core. Someone really had it in for that thing. I guess its still worth 10¢ even though it should only be worth 5¢ because half of it has been sanded away
