Not true. It's a rim Cud.

I have no idea how common or scarce these are, but I do know what it is.

If the rim is indented in which I think is then its just a damaged coin. What I am seeing on this coin is the rim indented. This happens alot when the outer rim on the coin gets damaged and pushes in. It makes coins look like Cuds sometimes.
If the outside of the coin isn't damaged at all then its a Cud. As far as value goes the Cud is fairly small. So I would put a value to it around 5-10 dollars. Bigger the Cud the more the value.

The year the coin would help me determine a exact value to your coin. The reason that is because the 90% would be 75 dollars, the 40% would be around 100 plus, 1970 would be roughly around 500 plus, 1971- would be around 25 dollars, a proof I would say no less than 500. Hope this helps.

I have a list written down from a while back from searching the internet on error values. So I dug up the list to see what the error is really worth.
