I recently was introduced to the 1oz silver coins (chinese panda and canadian wolf)......i just recently ordered the 2011 canadian maple leaf, 2011 austrian philharmonic, 2011 australian koala, and 2011 african elephant in my attpemt to get all of the 1 oz silver coins from 2011. I will post pictures when I receive them!

Great start for your collection Flook. I started collecting ASE's and i'll hopefully have a few Maples, Kookuburras, Koalas, and Pandas next week. Where are you ordering them from by the way? |

Well I heard people on this site talking about APMEX.com....so this is my first purchase from there.....4 coins total so I will deffinitly post pictures and let everyone know of my experience....the site seems good and the variety is pretty amazing so if the shipping goes well and the coins are as stated then this could be a great place for all.....hopefully will have them middle of next week! cant wait |

I ordered through provident metals since the premiums are lower. Problem is,a lot of the foreign silver coins I want are out of stock(the years I want at least). APMEX has most of them. Wondering if I should wait or go ahead and pay a little more. |

well if I were you id hold off at least a couple days so I can get let you know my experience id hate for you to go ahead and order and neither one of us be satisfied......ship date on the coins is 3-3 so id imagineill have them by next friday

i started collecting the somali elephants last year. I got a good deal on them at a coin show and love the designs. I am happy to hear that APMEX now carries them. I have never ordered from them but I know that their shipping seems to be high. with that in mind I have to make it count. let me know how your experience was. |
