It's not actually Sassanian. On the obverse near the rim in the 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock quadrant is the Arabic word "bismallah". This coin is an "Arab-Sassanian" dirham, struck by the early Islamic Caliphate in imitation of Sassanian drachm.

The mint-name is to the right of the fire-altar scene on the reverse, but I can;t find a match on the table of Arab-Sassanian mint names.

This is the area I'm talking about, between the two arrows. I've rotated the coin 90 degrees to "read" the word properly.

My best guess for the mint is "TART", a mintmark attributed to the Tawwaj mint.

I also just noticed that the area on the obverse in the 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock quadrant of the rim is actually an oval-shaped "Governor's countermark", applied by local governors in the Caliphate to verify the coins are indeed good for use there. There also appears to have been some kind of inscription on the other side in the 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock quadrant, which has been almost obliterated by the countermark.
