Im more of a domestic U.S. coin collector but I've had these for some time now and I'm hoping on getting some info on these....don't know anything now so any info would be appreciated thanks! The one I'm almost certain is a commemorative, but it feels heavy possibly made of silver?.... front  reverse

The '73 dollar is nickel,likely worth face value,can't really grade it from your photo. The 50cents is a cool find but only worth bullion,about $9

Pulled the quarter out of a '73 double cent set a couple of weeks back,spent the rest,I guess the store was unaware the dollar was mostly worth two bucks as I only got a dollar for it.

Hi, Flook, yeah, the 1973 nickel dollar as, stated isn't worth much, but the silver .50 cents, is nice.

good to know....i didnt figure dollar would be worth much but it was just a kool piece that I was hoping someone out here would recognize haha thnx guys

The dollars were issued for circulation as well as in collectors sets,the fields on yours seem to indicate it was removed from a set.Nickel dollars were issued from 1968-1986 they are very rarely found in circulation today,but are often given as change at coin dealers or shows.

A set of those dollars are fairly easy and inexpensive to put together. A cool set nonetheless!
