I've had this in my collection for a while, but it's one of the few that I haven't been able to 100% identify. I know all you coin super sleuths on here can solve my mystery.

Uhhhh Well it is Ottoman for sure. The date is AH 1293 regnal year 17 which means 1893 or so. The Sultan was Abdul Hamid II, but the figure above the Tougra is one I am not familiar with.

I will check Krause but it may be listed under a country other than Turkey.

OK, I just checked and it is Turkey. So now, we need to confirm the size to know what you have. The 5 Kurush is about the size of a nickel and the design type matches. The 1293/17 would make it a common date. Other denominations do not seem to have been issued in that year so the 5K is likely it.

It measures 23.5 mm in diameter; a little bit bigger than a nickel. I don't have a scale, otherwise I'd weigh it too. I think what has stumped me for so long is the symbol above the Tughra. Also, if you do check Krause, could you tell me what it's made of? Thanks.

It should be silver - 830 fine and should weigh 6 grams. The diameter is a good match - they varied a bit based on the ones I have in my collection.

I found the design above the Tughra at the beginning of the section on Turkey, It calls it an Honorific Title "El Ghazi" - The Victorious. They noted that this title was used by Sultan Abdul Hamid II for his second coinage issue.
