It is a VAM 7-A. I have this in PCGS XF 40. I am looking for one in mint state condition.

1878-CC VAM 7 A has what appears to be a clashed CC mintmark on the obverse. The VAM 7-A is very scarce.

Oz, This has no CC clash by the band. But has remnants of something under the tail. It is a wicked Clasher. I took a few more shots of it and will put them up later. I have troble on over laying them but with the doubling in liberty on the Obv. the stuff under the tail make sence kind of.

It is a gorgeous coin too! This is a hard to find coin in any grade and harder to find in AU and above.
