Well the coin appears to be very weakly struck, but I do believe it to be in mint state. The problem that I have with it is that there is no luster at all and it appears very dull.

I think all their pictures on their site look that way, so the pictures may not do the coin justice and it have more luster on the coin in hand

I too think that is wear on that coin. Although that may be MS-62 in the eyes of the seller he may be basing that on a 100 point system. I just don't think it's really MS-62 or a weak strike.

I think its mint state, but weakly struck with no eye appeal-if you're looking for a type coin, the price is ok=if you're looking to put together a set, I'd pass. This is a common date, and as the first year of issue, many were saved. You would have no problem finding a better one.

Thanksz for the info, the one on Heritage does appear much better. The one in the link has a better back than the front so I think I am going to pass since I am undecided. Thanksz again.

I would say AU-55 or so. Would be hesitant to pay MS-62 money for that coin.

I'm wobbling between AU58 or MS60...that's the highest I'd go for that. Honestly, it's not a great coin, it's a crappy strike and it's got that "stored in an old paper coin envelope" haze.
