Beautyfull coin no scratchs with some flows but badly covered with fingerprints .
Well only cost me 25 cents so what can I say ?!

See the "S" on the obverse. S stands for silver
Just funnin. Proofs came from San Fran.

there is no yellow stripe on the rim so I presume it was silver ! why are they clad ?

For the 1999S New Jersey Quarter, 3,713,359 were clad and 804,565 were silver (according to the Official Red Book).

thanks docsfishn for the info about mintage numbers , I'm so pumped 800,000 only where made in silver made it turn into a very good find !
