This is selling fairly cheap on ebay right now if anybody is interested. I might bid on it if I can get it cheap. I'm sure it won't last at this price though. http://cgi.ebay.com/DANSCO-CANADA-T...EW_W0QQitemZ150038793109QQihZ005QQcategoryZ531QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Errrr. Darnit. I should have put this in the Canada forum. Edited by Irishraider 09/29/2006 10:35 pm

Hi Dennis, Go for it buddy. I had only a very small interest in it but not beyond a few bucks though, and by few I mean $3-$5. Thanks for the trade on the Canadian nickels though. ;)

Hi Irishraiader, just thought I'd let you know the album sold for $31, I can't believe I bid $30 and lost it...go figure, where are all those bidders when you want them?

Shreeeek! $31! Wow, I didn't figure it would go for that much. Still waiting on some nickels from The Great White North. They said it could take up to 3 weeks. As soon as I get them they will be on their way to your hacienda. Sorry for the delay. I didn't think it was going to take so long. Well, here is a banana to keep us busy until they show up.

That sounds like too much to me. Not to brag or anything but I picked one up for $17 including shipping... It was a few months ago. My point is I think they are out there for less.
Cheers

Not to worry, things move slower in the frozen Northlands And as for the Album, Brett is right, surely patience will pay off sometime. With shipping, that one cost nearly $40

Is it possible to make your own album with a compass cutter? I am tempted to make my own after seeing the prices as well as not having the ones that I personally want.

Cheap they are not, but I really like the Eagle system when it comes to putting together custom collections/albums. The Eagle holders are airtight and prevent toning, only mylar touches the coin, and the holders are re-usable. Some might consider them labor intensive, but after all it is a labor of love...short of encapsulation it is the best way I've found to preserve and display.

Both of the Canadian Type Albums by Dansco can be bought new for less than $30. I prefer Dansco and I am currently working on the Canadian Type Album 1858 - 1952. The 1953 to date would be a bear to finish with all those silver dollars but some day I will tackle that as well!!!
