Unfortunately, you have a damaged cent that is worth less than the 2x2. A brockage error looks completely different- one side of the coin is completely normal while the opposite side is an incuse mirror image.

Looks like a "woodblocked" coin. If you put a cent in between to solid pieces of wood and beat the heck out of them with a hammer, you'll get a coin with the same appearances.

Dryer coin. The bouncing in the dryer makes the rims higher. Hitting it with a block would flatten the rims. Dipping it in acid would remove the rims. Dryer Coin.
