Hey everyone, I just got some pics from a dealer about 2 Lafayette dollars. Hey both have been cleaned, but the detail isn't bad. The price is also fair at $325.

I'm not sure how to authenticate these, but if they are legit, these are pretty rare and if it was me I would jump on it... But I defer to the experts...

Cleaned=Damaged=less desirable=less valuable=harder to resell.

Be carefull of counterfeits as this has seen a huge influx of counterfeits some encased in PCGS holders

Both of these coins have been horribly cleaned and I would not even waste my time trying to authenticate them for you.

IMHO ... stay away from both of them ... especially at $325 on a YN budget!
