Just curious if anyone every sent in one of those coin ads you find in the coupons in the Sunday Press? You know the ad that will send you 3 "rare" nickles for $5.95 or one each of the Lincoln Penny designs for $9.95...(along with many other interesting selections mailed to you for your approval).
I've been tempted to send the ad in just to see what they send, just don't want to get junk sent to me every day from them! I'm guessing it's all overpriced poor to good condition common stuff. So 'fess up, anyone respond to these ads?

I did when I was a kid but learned fast. You would be far better off to go to a coin shop/show and pick out what you want. Those ads in the paper send you over priced stuff and you will probably get a lot of junk mail as well.

Same type of stuff sells at flea markets for a lot less. At some flea markets, coin stores, coin shows the little premade cardboard things with holes for coins sell and you could put your own coins in them.
Usually you will get coins not worth the postage.
