No. Best options are to soak in distilled water, perhaps dip in acetone.

Even if you dip in Acetone, you still need to know what you are doing first. Like what kind of coin is it, the value or rarity, and the condition or grade. If a coin is valuable or rare, there is a good chance you will ruin most(if not all) numismatic value of the coin. Education is the answer before cleaning...

and sorry for being rude, but to the community. If you don't know what coin you possibly have, you can post pics, and there are a LOT of experts more than willing to help out if they can

Just remember once you decide to clean there's no going back, 90% of the time I've regretted it.

The simple answer, no.
Only if the coin has heavy soil or corrosion, would I ever advise cleaning a coin (soft toothbrush and distilled water only) and then, would only be a long soak in distilled water after.

Basically no way to really clean coins without some repercussions in grade, value, ability to resell.
Of course there are numerous methods to clean coins if you really don't care about them. For example it is well known that an arc welder torch will knock off all the dirt from a coin. Same with consentrated acids. And the resulting lump of metal is good for any jewler, maybe. Just kidding of course.
If your new to this forum go to the tab at the top for SEARCH and try that for cleaning coins, coin cleaning, etc. Might find a lot of info on that subject.
