Ok, no luck with the 1955 double die. How about this one? This is De Lamination right?

Umm... I don't know. That's why I was asking. Verify that I'm correctly diagnosing this coin. I'm still a newbie with errors and varieties.

Thank you rh13.

cladhunter13, what is the difference between Lamination peel and De lamination? (or am I just thinking back to my days working in a box factory?)

Could that be some kind of retained die break?

Don't hold me to that, just throwing it out as a question.

Lamination. Laminations tend to flow in a straight line across a planchet. Its not peeling yet or delaminated.

Scooby Due, the opposite side looks normal. So.. what is the universal verdict? So far I have gotten : De Lamination (me)
Lamination Peel (cladhunter13)
some kind of retained die break (scooby due)
Retained Cud (Adam E)
Lamination (coop)

These are all good descriptions. are there any photos that could be compared to?
