So, after a recent post regarding saving vs. Opening rolls of LP3's. I decided to open the four dollars of string and sons rolls I had been saving(I will not open my mint rolls).
I have to say I am pleased I opened them. Here is the haul. 1 2009P-1DR-003, 4 2009P-1DR-005's, 1 2009P-1DR-014, 1 2009P-1DR-017 and 1 2009P-1DR-034.
So all in all much more fun than looking at rolls. I do not hav photo capability today but will post pics in the next few days.

Funny you mention that Amida- I too opened and searched my first EVER roll of 2009 LP2s. I'm not kidding, I've never looked for the DDRs, there's so many of them and a great lack of clarity that I've simply overlooked them on the whole.

Now I understand the appeal- I found 11 coins in the roll, two different fairly moderate doubled dies, WOW, just fun.

Is anyone at all familiar with approximate values for some of the better dies? I know what they can be priced at on ebay, but as far as what people are actually willing to pay- anyone have experience selling them?

Congrats Amida!

You might check the site for pricing and die numbers.

I don't really strain myself to find the 100 DDR's on the LP2's EXCEPT for the "creepy" finger varieties like 002, 012, 017, 037, 082, 097, 098 etc.

I have bought a few of these BU in the $8-10 range a piece. If that helps.

I have not sold any. I did give one away as Scooby Snack, though.

EDIT: Oops! I meant $8-10!

Thanks Coop, I will indeed. There's been some talk recently about putting up a site for the top 10 2009 FY DDRs. I think that will help a lot too.

Yeah I really only have looked for the "creepy" ones too. But the 005's I found are pretty obvious. Maybe EDS ?

I got nothing against Coppercoins but I will say he made me angry when he wouldnt give me the time of day for my 2009 LP3 DDR. He takes everybody elses coins on here when theres a new die variety found. Just for the record Coppercoins the coin is on the way to bobby131313 for better pictures.
