In Sofia have another place where peoples sells things. They are gypsies and they sell good coins where they find them in the rubbish or when steals. That place called "Bitaka".I was going 1 time but was terrible.I buy 9 coins from there.9 old Bulgarian silver coins from 1882 to 1891.

Unless sellers are extremely ignorant, my guess is everything you bought is fake. Silver content on any coin you listed should be more than you paid for everything.

Good coins are not found in the rubbish, and you don't want to buy stolen property. Everyone wants to get a "deal", and the bad guys use this desire to take your money. That is how they make their living.

It is the same in any country. In the US, people stand on the street and ask for money for food. They have people give them a coin or a dollar for sympathy. In a good location, they can make $400 a day, about fives times as much as if they had a real job.

You will never get a deal from these crooks, but they make you think you are getting a bargain. They are smarter than you, because they do this all day long, starting when they were children.

I saw them sold for big $ when you can find them in MS condition. In last Kuenker action a 5 leva 1894 sold for 350 euro and a 1892 for 280!
My last find was a 50 stotinki from 1913 which I buy raw and slab my own.It has a gold patina.

Epop, I like that 1913 50-stotinki piece! I think it grades AU-53 or AU-55 based on the reduced luster in the fields.
