At the dealer this week, I asked if they had dateless buffalos. They brought out a ziploc bag and said they were 13 cents each. I bought 20. They said I could pick out which ones I wanted.
Well, I wanted them to make Hobo Nickels, so I just grabbed 20 with no corrosion. If I saw a mint mark I put it back (in case someone else wanted it for acid treatment). So I tried to get shiny junk with
no mint marks.
When I got home, I noticed some interesting things in my assortment, but in particular...
A complete set of Type I
Buffalo nickels: P, D, and S.

Now, they truly are dateless... that is rubbed smooth, but being Type I, we all know they are 1913.
I put them aside (instead of carving them up). I assume they are worth more than the 13 cents I paid for them (what do you think they are worth?).
So what should I do with them?
ebay? hoard them? sell them here? Take them back to the dealer and trade them for 3 other dateless?
