I got these the other day, They have WRL stamped on both sides.
The penny is there as a sive comparison.

From the "About us" section on the website.

"Once the foundations of the metal ranges were set the Company set up its own Centrifugal Casting division, Westair Metal Casting. The casting operation is located at its UK offices and casts products in lead-free pewter and other white metals. Westair cast all their own metal products such as miniature figures, coins and jewellery this ensures that Westair is able to offer it's customers the highest quality product at very competitive prices."

Yep, anything with "WRL" stamped on it is a Westair reproduction. Very commonly found in Britain, and tourists to Britain often bring them home.

People who make fake coins are bad enough, but companies who prosper off of this really rub me the wrong way. I wish WRL would just go out of business already and stop producing all of these replicas. Ok, my rant is over. :)

Westair isn't too bad, in the sense that all their repros are clearly marked, on both sides - though I would prefer "COPY" or "REPLICA" on one side, to make it crystal clear to even newbies to ancients. It's the Rosas, Slaveys and Bulgarians that don't bother marking their replicas as such, or believe such markings to be optional, that are far more dangerous.
