Probably the same person that made the obverse 1964 Kennedy half and reverse Franklin! Mine was very well done and you really couldn't really see where it was put together..

Not sure who or how many make those two headed and two tailed coins but possibly more than one organization. They are used by magician and sell in magic stores for a really high price. Usually the Cent ones, Dimes and Nickels are about $5 to $10. The Quarter and Half go for about $15 or more. I purchased an Ike one not to long ago for $25. If you find a magic supply place in your area, it's fun to see all the magic tricks for coins.

I got my half which is silver in a bunch of junk Kennedy halves I bought a few months ago. I never brought it back and wondered if it could be worth more than a half since it really is well done. I started a thread here since I didn't know if fake or real and basically was told it's just junk silver. Where do you think I can get rid of it?

Quote: Where do you think I can get rid of it? If your saying yours is a 2 headed coin, you could get a lot more from a magician or magic shop that anywhere else. Of course on ebay you never know. Might get offered a fortune. If your saying yours is a 2 header, you may try magic shops on the internet too.

angel2004, ebay would be a good venue for your Magician's coin. It should be worth more than just silver value, I would say at least $20 or so. If you do decide to list it on ebay, please post a link to the auction

So glad I found this forum! I thought I had struck it rich when I recently found a two-headed penny amongst my grandmother's things, but I now know it's a Magician's coin, so it looks like I won't be quitting my job anytime soon! But surely it must be worth SOMETHING! One side is dated 1919 and the other 1941. Anyone have any suggestions/advise?

Quote: Anyone have any suggestions/advise? I dont know what kind of quality advice I could give. I probally will keep my nickel find, it is something cool to show friends....... Before I would sell my nickel....I think I would give it away to a younger collector who would treasure the gift more than a purchase...... I have not seen a double headed cent yet....any pics

I have a two headed 1922 Peace dollar a friend gave me. I have no interest in keeping it, but don't know anyone who would want it. I'll keep it for now, but the seam is nonexistent on mine too

I found hollow threaded quarters and halves at an online "Spy Shop." It's a great way to smuggle things in and out of... well, anywhere. They show the coin being used with a 8GB Micro SD card inside. Once it's closed, you can't tell it's not real. I'm sure a few will find their way into prison filled with white powders and things like that. I have the world's worst 2 headed cent. I bought it on ebay for .99. They didn't try to line up the heads, it's way off weight and the edged look like they used a nail file to smooth the seam changing the angle when they felt like it. I thought about dropping it in the "Take a Penny" cup at the store, but then someone would find it, use video to track it back to me and I'd be taken away by the guys with the dark suits, shades and the little curly tubes running into their ear; never to be seen again. The 1922 Peace dollars are called "Harvey Dent" coin copies from Batman. I've seen several for sale.
