This ebay coin has an 'attribution', but I can see no letters remaining to identify it as they have. I know this is a popular bust/reverse combination, so is it possible this is not a Saufeius Family coin? If not, what is it? (I am thinking about buying it) Thanks!

Yes I did. Even if it is not a Saufeius it is still interesting. I am trying to expand my collection on Roman Republic coins to go with my Imperial hoard. I have three now, and they were all under $30 each. Two are in rough shape (like this example) and one is in exquisite shape (but with a hole) :(

I can see a "V" beneath the horse's feet, which is consistent with the attribution as Saufeius. It's also consistent with half a dozen other moneyers that had a "V" in their name, so hopefully further letters are distinguishable on the piece in hand.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
