Looking for an opinion on grading. Has a nice rainbow toning toward the edges... I'll try to capture it with the camera...... Let me know what you think. :) Just noticed as I was looking at the photos I just posted....is the odd shaped indent to the right of liberty a die error? Almost looks like a ghost of liberty's arm? Opinions?

Ooh, I like the toning!

I'm not sure what the indentation is.. It does kinda look like Liberty's arm, but that's just a coincidence, IMHO..

Hehe.. I just realized that's a cap and not a flag on the end of the pole ;P lol

Is the weird shape a bump? Or a dip?
It kinda looks like a bump to me.. Could be a die clash, or a die break..

By the way, the coin is an 1876 . It really doesn't make a difference though..

We would need a reverse picture to determine grade :-)

Oops, I fixed the date

I can post a photo of the reverse...but the sunlight is gone. I'll see what I can do without it.....

VF-30, looks to have minor issues, but could potentially be a higher grade with a weak strike judging by the strong shield.
