I am wondering has anyone ever seen a 1982 LMC with the mintmark even with lincolns lips. not sure if a image would show it

No I've never seen a 1982 LMC with the mint mark even with the lips lest not to my knowledge..note this is even after seeing your picture.so what do you have ? maybe a die chip or gas bubble ? noteing that your a newer poster let me welcome you aboard.please don't be discouraged ,in your searching efforts ,you will find something 'rewarding'.Happy Hunting

I've seen a few of these on the board just recently and though I am no expert, I believe it is a gas bubble.

Stains on a coin will trick the mind at times. Seems the brain thinks something is there when it isn't. I the anomaly is larger/small than a normal mint mark, it isn't.
