found this one, runs along the wing edge and reminded me of the lincolns that have the doubling on the #6 and #7 posts I find so often, so thought I would ask. Douling or die damage?

Looks like a die crack. From what little I know about Washington quarters I believe these are rather common. The outer edges of the wings are very common stress points.

Agreed looks like a die crack to me.

Just like the cornices on the Lincoln Memorial on a cent, the leading edge of the eagle wings on the quarter are a point of inherent weakness in the die subject to repeated cracking. From my experience, it is much more prevalent on the silver issues but it can be found on most any year.
