I've never found anything collectable in the Coinstar machines, as I only know of two here in Welland. I did find a nice pile of pennies once though. Pennies everywhere, on the floor, in the reject bin, on the counter...
Why don't people check to see if their coins are in/on the machine after they dump them?

I saw a single reject, which usually means a silver dime.

Checked the supermarket, just a 2005d dime, no obvious reason it rejected.

I saw a couple dumping some coins as I was leaving. I noticed they put a reject back a couple times, so I asked to see it. "Give you a buck for it". Didn't take long to understand that a buck's more than 9ยข, so I have a 1960d dime.
