April $39.50 May $41.50 June $33.75 July $38.75 Aug. $45.00 Sep. $48.00 Oct. $49.50 Nov. $51.75 Dec. $55.50
I think we will see a moderate pull back in the month of June, possibly hitting back in the high 20's before starting to climb sharply. The reason I do not believe this is a bubble is:
1) Supply - Everything I have read says there is not enough being mined. Also what is being used is not recoverable or too expensive to recover. Different mints have delayed shipments of bullion because of lack of supply.
2) QE3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Our government and its people do not want to stop spending. Quanitative Easing is like a drug the longer we do it the more we need the fix.
3)Gold to Silver Ratio (GSR) Historically the GSR has been 16 to 1 meaning the cost of 16 oz of silver would equal 1 Oz of gold. As of today that ratio is 38 to 1

After seeing another report on the horrible conditions and treatment of what are basically slaves in mining gold in Africa, like diamonds, I would think silver is just as evil. To be honest, I don't want to think of it. I don't wear jewelry and I am not really a bullion investor, but if I could I would collect only old er US silver coins and the like. The silver mines may be a bit more civilized but there are horrors in the treatment and conditions of the children and women that work in mud, mining for gold to barely live for the rich tyrants. Anyways, when I do see another 60 minutes type report about the mining, it makes me think of the demand. The demand is there and gold is hot. Gold will continue to rise in 2011 and 2012 in my opinion. Platinum will as well go over 2,000.00 and not look back in the next couple years and silver will hover at $50.00 - $58.00 as well by the end of 2012. I was looking for $1400.00 levels back in 2009.Not that I am that smart, no way, just a good guess for a change. I did sell twice at levels that worked out nicely. If it doubles now I really don't regret having sold since I almost tripled the investment then. That's the name of this game. Buy low - sell high. I predicted Gold would be between 1400.00 and 1500.00 here back in Sept of 2010. But nobody expected Silver to be at what it is at today in this CCF poll.I think silver will rise but not quite as much as others. Gold will continue to be in demand by the richest people to hoard and hold. Last day of the month of ... April $36.95 May $39.12 June $38.32 July $38.75 Aug. $40.07 Sep. $40.39 Oct. $42.29 Nov. $43.80 Dec. $45.66

My post above seems to indicate I am talking mostly about gold, but I am just looking at the precious metals as a whole. It seems to usually moves in the same direction no matter which metal you favor. These are my guesses for silver.

This is definitely outing some silver bugs, isn't it? Some on the other side too. Cool contest. I hope I lose. I plotted the current entries on a graph and the trends are pretty interesting.
wheezy, Don't watch any shows or research boom time silver mining in Nevada, or you'll have to cross old silver coins off your list too, especially CCs.

Prostitution in mining camps and chinamen ( pardon me but that's what they called em back then. ) doing the hard labor in California. Murder and robbery on the stage coaches. Gambling. I guess wherever money is there will always be evil behind it to a proportionate degree.

April-$40 May-$42 June-$43 July-$32 August-$30 September-$30 October-$33 November-$34 December-$35 I think silver is at a bit of a bubble right now but prices will hold due to worldwide instability. Eventually the bottom will drop out (as people get accustomed to instability) and prices will fall; just to bounce back to what will be new higher stable levels. When, how much, or whether it will is anybodies guess

I was tempted to just go with 40.00 across the board out of laziness but decided to just use a steady increase... I'll exchange an e-Highfive with whoever can put that in slope-intercept form first...
