I was in a joAnns/Michaels type crafts shop and I saw Made in USA "Acid Free" plastic containers intended for photograph storage.

They are these I believe:

Edit: I just remembered PVC-free plastic is what I'm looking for, PVC free and Acid-free might go together in most cases?

Hmmm...I know some holders are listed as PVC free and acid free, not sure if they go hand in hand though. Since PVC emits hydrochloric acid in the form of a gas, I would assume that acid free may also mean PVC free. Don't take my word for it though. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
