My wife helps me out by organizing the pages in my kids and grandkids albums, well I told her about the mint putting out new Loonies and Toonies later this year, the next thing she's doing is getting all her loons and toons out and putting them in 2*2 and an album, she thinks she will get more money down the road than going to the bank now.
Now I have to fight her for the loons and toons
Does any one else have this problem?

Sort of...

I've mentioned before I buy peoples collections outright, so I just make a lump sum offer and take it all whether I want it or not. Well this results in a LOT of picking through and researching along with various forms of the best kind of time wasting. So normally I inevitably end up with "keep" and "sell" piles.

The problem comes about with the "sell" pile. It always seems the coin/banknote/medallion I hate the most somehow catches her eye and she says "Don't sell that, I like that" . Now last week it happened with a set of .999 pure silver 1976 Olympic stamp sculptures. I don't like them, but I can live with the "keep them" edict because they are at the end of the day refined silver.

However yesterday I had a pile of those resin encapsulated 25 cent pieces sitting in the sell pile.... and I hate them. But low and behold who comes along and starts examining them and I hear from on high... "Don't sell those, I like them".

Sigh.

I'll swap my wife for yours any day. I only wish she would "save" my money in 2x2s instead of spending it!
