I don't know why I like this one so much, but it just looks dramatic and cool. Any idea how to grade and what it might be worth. It is about the size of an American cent. The white blobs on reverse come right of with no underlying damage that I can see under 45x. A little of Bad Thad's juice should enhance this one quite a bit.

Some of the letters are also re-punched or doubled as a bonus.

coin info:
KM# 14
1 CENTESIMO
Bronze, 19.05 mm. Subject: Uracca Obv: Written value above
sprigs Rev: Bust with head covering left
1935
Mintage 200,000
F - 4.00 VF - 6.00 XF - 15.00 UNC - 35.00

it certainly does appear to have a little verdigris going on. But on the other hand there is still a lot of nice detail left on this coin even though it clearly has been beaten up a little. I'm terrible at grading because if I own it, it always looks better to me but I would have to say based on the details still on this coin, it is in VF family. I'm sure the dings and verdigris takes away from value but I would love this coin in my collection. Really nice!

Thanks for the info. It does have some dings etc, but perhaps it just adds to the character.... I think this is now going to be one of my favorites.

Thanks for the link. As I was searching ebay I noticed some of their other Panama coins from the 30s are rather cool. Try a search for 1931 one balboa silver. Amazing.
Rest in Peace
