Hello all, I have been collecting foreign coins for about 40 years now. Just money off the street from my limited travels and my father's extensive ones. I want to catalog them now because.....well I just want to. Problem is there are many many that I cannot remember where they came from, cannot read the dates or denominations, etc. I would like to post pictures here as I run across them as I have seen others do. Should I create a new post for each item, or stick to one post?

There are notes as well.

Hello and welcome to the forum. We'd love to see pics of your coins and help you identify them. If you haven't found it already over on the left hand side of the screen, here's the Posting Pictures tutorial.

It's always best not to put too many coins in one thread, because it can become confusing when people start to identify some coins and not others, and once they're identified it can be hard for me, as the moderator-in-charge-of-moving-identified-stuff, to decide where to put it if multiple categories of coins are involved.

I'd suggest no more than two or three coins per thread, if it can be helped, and not too many all at once.

Hi and If you are completely lost you might want to take a look at http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /index.php. I ran across it today researching a coin that turned out to be from Dominican Republic.
