I've been trying. my hobby is coin collecting, not photography. Can't seem to figure out how to get a clear picture. keeps comin up all blurry.

Does your camera have a macro setting? Usually you can get closeup pics using that.

no go on pics. camera is horrible. I did break it out of its slab and taped the PCGS label in my Dansco. when I do get around to getting a better camera I will post pics to share. thanks for advice!
