Hi all I just started roll searching dimes and noticed some talking about finding 1969 and 2010D dimes as their finds. Is there something special about these, I have found several 1969's, but passed them by. Also, any other key date suggestions would be great. I found these my last search and it kind of hooked me. I bought $120 worth of rolls, nothing in the others that I know of, but both of these were pulled out of one roll.

Great finds since almost all Mercury dimes never show up in change any more.

I bet that was me who found those dimes I save the 1969 P mint not D mint dimes (the mintage is low) I save the 2009 P and D mint dimes the mintage is low I save the 2010 D to get a full roll...I am on the east coast and haven't gotten 50 yet. I would like to get a roll of each dime date and mintmark from 1965-date save and pre 64 (silver obviously) nothing special about the 2010 just something I am doing others on here save the 1969 dimes as well...its all about what you want to collect and save

Might want to check that 1942 dime again. Is that a 42 over 1? P or D mint mark? Need a better pic. I snagged your picture and enlarged it a touch. Looks like the hint of a "1" over the top of the 2.

Price wise, there are really no 'key' dates in Roosevelts IMO. Don't care for moderns as much. Mercury's 1921, 1916 D, and 1942/1. If you're looking older we can talk

It's a "D" mint and no, I wish it was the 2 over 1, but I could never be that lucky. Here is a close up, there is something there, but does not look like a 1 to me, but what do you guys think. I am guessing severe Md of sorts or a trick of light. I took a pic of the 19 in the date and looks like the same thing over the 9. when I turn the coin upside down these marks are barely noticable.
