Sounds like it's a lot easier being a buyer, than a seller!
Rest in Peace

I try to be very lenient with it. I typically ask for 3 days, and allow more if they contact me first. However, I find it better to just wait for them instead of filing NPB unless its WAY over time. If they wait too long/poor communication/rude, I'll sometimes block them.

24 hours to remit payment is my golden rule, if I am waiting for other listings to close in order to ship together, I will send a courtesy email to let the seller know of my intentions. So they aren't left hanging and guessing. It works like a charm.

Uh - Buy it Now - MEANS - Buy it Now

If you click the button to buy it you are obviously at your computer and should pay immediately
That is the way I run the store

LOL - that's what I thought, too! I didn't recall anything about a lay-away it now button.

The guy finally came through and I have since mailed his package, but now I know to be more specific in the listing or know they have up to 4 days.

Thanks for all of your input!

Now if I can just figure out how to juggle shipping outside the US....
