Winnipeg Centennial Dollar Die Chip Or Struck-Thru?

Imohtep Valued Member Canada 321 Posts	Posted 04/07/2011 02:43 am So I was at the bank today for my pennies and I asked as usual if they had any 50 cent peices or old dollars. the lady brought back a bag of newer 50 cent peices with 1 nickel dollar in it. Turns out it was the Winnipeg centennial dollar. Of course I had to have it as I was born, raised and currently still reside in Winnipeg. When I got home I noticed some odd markings in one of the 0's. what do you guys think it is? Report this Post to the Staff

Since you're in Winnipeg, why not take it to the coin show on Sunday at the Charterhouse and have one of the dealers look at it? I'll be there (shopping) in the morning.
