Greetings from south of the border.

I know next to nothing about Canadian money. I have a 1999 Cent that looks unusual to me. QE2's eye does not look like a human eye. It looks like a cat eye. Is this how it always looks? I don't have another cent to compare it to.

Thanks for your help.

heh, I guess I stumped you. Was it my brilliant photography, or my stupidity. Or, are Canadians just the silent type? Nobody has anything to say? I don't mind if someone says "Hey you idiot, it a normal coin." Just say something.

I do not know were you see a cat eye...this is the normal look for the eye in this version of her bust. It is just a side view of the eye is all

I see what appears to be a cat-like vertical pupil in your last photo.I doubt that its normal, but I don't have the eyesight or equipment to focus on her eye like that.

this "virtical pupil" is just the line that shows seperation between the white of the eye and the iris/pupil
