So you were just asking an opinion on a potential purchase?
You found a good place to do that! There are very helpful people around this place. And some pro's (not me).

I bought it but don,t have it yet. What do you think it grades, and how much do you think the unnatural toning detracts from the value.

Flipping through her closed auctions I'm guessing this one cost you a little over $100 with shipping. Based on her feedback and the Posts here I'd say definately send it back.

I agree with all the above. What a shame to ruin what could have been a fine coin.

Send it back!

And .... to the CCF

Don't let anything we say bring you down... Everyone on the forum gives so much constructive criticism for 1 reason, and that's for us all to gain knowledge. With knowledge we can out some of the bad seeds that sell fakes and cleaned coins. We all make that 1 mistake(at least 1) that makes feel duped, and taken. But a true learner will bounce back and learn from that mistake. The Community is very much a big Family, and we welcome all with open arms...

I agree it looks coated.

I got one like this off of ebay (not the same date though).
Wish that I could remember the seller ID.
Sold it after a week of trying to figure out why it just was not right.
Let the buyer know what I felt about it and they did not seem to care.
Still lost money on the deal
Hope yours comes out better
I checked back on my records and mine was a 1919 ChBu from guess who nancye913
