1858 Indian Head Cent?what!?

I guy just called me and wanted to trade some sivler for a 1858 Indian Head cent said it was graded ms by NGC and had 1858 j212 on the casing. He didn;t have the 10 digit code on hand. Does anyone know any info on this and potential value. I think he said MS64

I do not own the Judd pattern book but based on Heritage records, J-212 is a proof-only issue so something is wrong if it is graded MS. Value for a PR64 would be in the $1600-2000 range.

Judd shows the 1858 Indian cent pattern as having 142 known examples and does list both MS and PR specimens. But in my humble opinion, this is a coin I would only buy in a PCGS, ANACS, or NGC holder from a reputable dealer.
