Was wondering if I could get some input here from fellow Half CRHs. Every week without fail when I go pick up my boxes they have been opened. At first I thought, ok improper handling. I also have looked at the rolls closely many times to be sure they have not been opened. So far, its just the box itself that has been opened, taped shut etc.

Has anyone ever ran into this problem/issue with a supply bank? I was told they order for another guy as well every week. In this area, the boxes are delivered every tues and weds. However I am told to pick up on Thurs at the earliest.

I am on Skunk city at this bank only. Is it possible he is weighing the rolls and replacing ones that are heavier? Could he have a deal with the other CRH guy to weigh and return, split profits? I've never heard of such a thing but anything is possible nowadays.

What would you all do in this situation? If I confront him about it, whats the easiest way to go about it?

Really lost for words here and looking for any advice.

Thanks

If you're having better luck w/ other banks, I'd just stop ordering from this bank. Especially, if you suspect he's examining the rolls. I would think that the bank would have policies against that type of thing, but it's hard to say. As for confronting him, I can't think of a way to do it that would work out positively for you.

About the only thing I think you could do is ask for an unopened box.

Find another bank, after all they are not in business to supply roll searchers or coin collectors. It's nice when they do help us out, but not profitable or required. And some banks do let their employees search for silver.

I would use them as the new primary dump bank.
