Maybe it's just me but I'm leaning more towards a VG-8. The left shirt lines (from what I can see on the picture at least) appear to be at least half there and the coin has a distinct date.

I agree with G-4. The rims are weak and the date is fading. If the rims are significantly worn into the legends (particularly on the reverse) it would drop to AG-3. For a VG grade I would want to see a full sharp date and fully-defined rims on both sides.
