CoinMan Tim. The catalogue value, accoring to the 2011 Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknote by Greg McDonald, is AU$10 each for those little guys.

Thanks Splock! Now all I need is for em to show up on ebay! I continually check but guess they're in a "dry patch" ;)

woof-back generally sells multiple proof coins. I have bought quite a few from him. Never had any problems.

In that case I have been lucky multiple times. His postage costs are around the $7 mark which I think is a little high, but he does give multiple purchase discounts on postage, which can bring down the price considerably. His purchases have always been as described and promptly delivered. He has always promptly answered my email queries. He provides feedback on payment receipt and doesn't wait for you to provide feedback. Overall, I am very happy with my transactions. And no, I'm not related LOL.

...just read his feedback or use toolhaus.org. I'm glad you have had multiple good buying experiences, but Many Have not. His Feedback says it all, can so many be so wrong,? perhaps, just bad buyers. LOL 14 negs 16 neutrals.Been at it for years.

Just in case, I reviewed the feedback given to woof-back. I went back 3000 posts. Its seems easy to give a negative (without repercussion) when the seller has already provided a positive. I'll stick with my previously stated position. I would buy again without hesitation.

Toolhaus is great, I use it often. However, go into ebay and click on his feedback. Then click on the neutral (16) and negatives (14). There are multiple negs from the same users. Having said that, ther are still a large number of individuals. With reagrd to postage delays, he is posting from Darwin. He clearly states that he combines postage on multiple items, but you have to wait for an invoice. Some of the neutrals don't even complaim. they simpoly say thanks. I'm sorry, I don't get the feeling that the service has been poor enough to warrant not using him.

In any purchase from ebay; Read the neutrals; Read the negatives; Consider the minuscule buyer and seller comments for and against; Search for common themes re neutral and positive. Consider the opinions of people you know who have bought from the seller; Form your own opinion; Live with and learn from the outcomes. Quote: woof-back generally sells multiple proof coins. I have bought quite a few from him. Never had any problems I simply expressed an opinion based solely on my multiple experiences with the seller. Its up to you to proceed with a purchase after having filled in the other details. I agree. Caveat Emptor

I Agree with your conclusion Yass. Its about balance if making recommendations..
*Note.. sellers can,t leave Negs for buyers irrespective if they the (seller) have left a positive for their buyer/s or not...it means nothing.

I had more 'Bad experiences" with him than you could poke a stick at. He has 'other" ebay ID's as well. I would not buy from him if he was selling Silver coins for 1¢ each! He continually blamed Aust Post for all his items taking over 2 months to get from Darwin to Brisbane. Buyer Beware! By the time the items arrived, it was too late to be able to post any type of feedback, so there could literally be hundreds of buyers like me who missed the opportunity to post neg feedback. I read an explanation of why his mail was being held up by A.Post, and it was his doing. Maybe he's changed his practices.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved
