Yes - they are usually "dollar" sized but are fantasy creations made of "white metal".

This is a replica of China's earliest silver dollar coin, nicknamed the "old man dollar". Struck in the early 1800s, listed in the Krause catalogue under China - Taiwan Province, KM/C# 25-3. The "old man" is Shou, the traditional Chinese (Taoist) star-god of longevity. The tripod-like thing on the other side is described in Krause as a "sacrificial vase", for burning incense, I believe.

Here's an extremely chop-marked example on zeno.ru. The discussion there on theories about the original issuer and intended usage of these coins is worth reading. This example is in much better condition and was up for auction in 1995 for US$10,000.
