The mint is selling rolls of these coins, but I want to wait and get them for face from the bank, Has anyone found any yet? How long does it take? All banks here say ,"We do not order those."

You can buy boxes of 250 from the mint at face value (can't pick the mint mark), they don't even charge you shipping. Bank's can't order them because the Federal Reserve isn't ordering them from the mint. The only way a bank would get a roll would be if someone deposited it. The mint makes you promise (but not pinkie swear) not to buy them and directly deposit them so you are unlikely to find them often.

I heard about that and was not sure what the deal was. Thanks, Lorax. I might just do that.

Yep.....but sadly the ONLY way to get BOTH mints of the Native Dollars IS to purchase the Two Roll P&D Sets directly from the Mint (or just purchase the Uncirculated Mint Set)....
This is what I've been doing for the last few years.

And because of this "premium" that I'm required to pay for these, alas, I will NEVER open the rolls. And so they'll have their "collectibility attraction" for ME as WHOLE B.U. UNOPENED ROLLS.
If this translates into collector interest (value) in the future.....who knows...but I don't particularly care, they make me happy to have them in my collection.

By the way....you can get the business strikes from the Mint Sets now, since they've done away with the Satin Finish.
This will net you both the "P" and the "D".
And of course the Proof Native Dollars from the annual Proof Sets.
I do this each year too for my Sacagawea/Native Dollar album collection....
If you like these coins....and you want ALL of the options for them anyway......

OK, I ordered the whole 10 rolls.

Boy, it makes it hard for casual collectors. I cannot afford to invest in the rolls. Do not know if I can get both P and D.

Well, the great thing about the mint's "circulating dollars" program is that you're not paying a premium. So you can keep one or two rolls for yourself, and go out and spend the rest, and you haven't lost anything.
