I have the Kodak C330, it does in fact, have the macro setting.

However, one of my cats ate the cable used to sync the digi to the pc.

Kodak is the ONLY place I can get this cable and at the tune of 30$ plus shipping. I only paid 73$ for the camera. I fully expect my cats to eat this cable (along with my headphones) on a monthly basis.

Can anyone send me this cable JUST so I can upload the pics I have on it from my vacation this past weekend?

I will pay for shipping both ways!

I will then promptly go out and get the Nikon Coolpix L4 and get a stick of removable memory so I can use that little plug-n-play device that simply plugs into your usb slot to upload pics (no more cables eaten)

Keep in mind that it is the standard usb connector at the one end, with the VERY small (smaller than standard) end for the digi side.

Do you have a memory card in the camera, if so you could probably download the pics from it at a camera shop onto a disc or something. Never done it myself but see people hanging around them all the time. Probably talking thru my hat, don't know alot about it. Just have these brain flashs every now and then.
Rest in Peace

wrk4lvg, not a silly question at all. I think all of us are vulnerable to having delicate cables such as this destroyed not only by pets, but by ourselves. I rolled over a standard USB cable not long ago, crushing one end.

I know there's a lot of cable sellers on ebay, have bought a number of serial, modem, and other cables from time to time. They're usually a fraction of the cost of original equipment since they're generic, so they're almost disposable. The problem is the handling/shipping rates usually are pushing the max rate, so while a cable might cost two bucks, shipping might be ten.

Good luck!

Fred, I bought one of those cables :( (like 5$, shipped)

Kodak has these as propriatery (spelling?) and I can't seem to get a better deal than the 30$ directly from them.
