A number of people on the acbo forum hav advised that they have been successful. I never got a ballot form even though I am a registered customer.

I entered and was successful, but I still might not receive one as I can't remember filling in my Credit Card details , so my entry may be declared invalid. It will be a bit of luck for someone else I suppose. It'll certainly make me pay more attention next time.

Luckily I scored one, though the mint did clamp down on those members who hadn't made purchases within a certain period (12mths I think) 1st ram on ebay sold for $410. Nice for an already over priced coin.

Quote: though the mint did clamp down on those members who hadn't made purchases within a certain period (12mths I think) Not so sure about this. I can't remember the last time I purchased from the RAM. Could have been over 4 years ago. I prefer to buy from my Local coin dealer and what I save on postage, I spend on other coins.

I must have given my Cr Card details cos they've charged it for 2 x $275.00. I hope they're going to send me 2 coins.

I think I may have lucked out on this one.. first time ever I've missed a ballott! its a nice coin but I dont think its going to give great increases. If the first one on ebay has gone for $410 its only going to go lower once everyone starts trying to make a quick buck. Thought I would be more disappointed about not getting one than I am!

Its dissapointing to me that RAM subscribers who won in the ballot even want to sell for a profit This $10 gold coin is the best single coin the Royal Australian Mint has produced at a reasonable price for ballot I have seen another one on ebay sell for less than $400 but the seller doesn't even have the coin yet I wish I won one at the issue price in ballot,my favorite precimal coin the RAM shilling

I seen a Melbourne Dealer has 10 for sale, only now I realise the ballot was not oversubscribed when 1 per customer was applied. It was not in too much demand is all I can come up with.Nice coin though

I know this guy and, A few dealers that I know of were allocate (7), but this guy was owed a favour buy the mint for not giving any ballot coins from last time, so he got (10). I used to like him but recently his been a bit of a tool to me.
