Considering there are 31 grams in a troy ouce, you're looking at $186 an ounce? For silver? That''s one heck of a premium. I'd like to see these bars as well.

Me think....

Gram gold......good :-)
Gram silver....bad :-(

You know what, I say the heck with the ridiculous premiums, if you like collecting the different 1 gram art bars, I say more power to you. Even though I would not figure them being worth much, unless you put together perhaps as a hard to find set. I wouldn't figure to see anyone getting rich via selling them either, unless they have a large supply to them at a very good price. And you would have to sell many of them to make anything, minus stocking up on many of the model you spoke of that brought 26 bucks....

I'm with SilverHawk on this one. Obviously, these 1g bars are WAY over-priced for their silver content (buck and a half?) but they probably are a very nice item to collect.

When I 1st saw this thread, I was thinking of gold in 1g bars, which would be in the $50-60 area, so getting one of those for $26 would be quite a steal. Alas, it was silver and not gold. :-/
