I stand by my original diagnosis! The only reason for the "tang" of metal to be to the right of the "1" in "1851" halfway down is due to the inverted "1" in the 1851 over 81 die. I also see a hint of the base of the inverted "1" at the top of the second "1" in "1851".
I like it for a 1851 over 81.! Thanks for the blow up picture and for sharing it with us!
