Wasn't very much copper in the lot I'm searching.

Nice pick ups RJ!! You know that Civil War token was around some soldier's neck!

Also, it appears to me that your 1851 Large Cent is a 1851 over 81 (inverted 18) date.

Here's a picture of my 1851 over 81 to crosscheck. Tell me what you think...

That's awesome Moe! I never thought of it that way... Kinda just saw it as a 'holed' coin. Maybe I will keep it for a little while.

I stand by my original diagnosis! The only reason for the "tang" of metal to be to the right of the "1" in "1851" halfway down is due to the inverted "1" in the 1851 over 81 die.
I also see a hint of the base of the inverted "1" at the top of the second "1" in "1851".

I like it for a 1851 over 81.! Thanks for the blow up picture and for sharing it with us!

(I will now await the words of the experts here on CCF to confirm my diagnosis...)
