I'm a little worried some of the marking could keep it out of a MS-64. I'm gonna say it's a 63+ that would have a shot at a 64.

Keep in mind, mshev, a 10MP digital shot of a coin is always going to be far more revealing of a coin's problems than the normal grading process. It'd be a whole lot more appealing in your hand than it is in these images. That's why I'm comfortable with 64 for this coin.

VAM-5, by the way, I think.

Um, please, no - you're already breaking the forum structure in Firefox with the huge images you're linking. In fact, if you could crop them to the coin only, it would be a real help.

I'm pretty sure of the attribution on this one, and it's really not important in the sense of extra value or rarity.

SuperDave - you've convinced me. I pulled up a few photos of my MS-64 Morgans and realized that this one looks the same or better than a couple of them (not to mention that this one is a CC!). A couple marks that appear to be on the reverse also very well may be on the plastic case.

Edit: I keep enlarging the pics to full-size and browsing around. Love the detail! Great photos.

Digital photography is harsh, mshev. It's actually a useful tool to teach grading - one tends to grade digital shots conservatively, and higher the quality, the greater the grade loss.

A high-resolution image of a true MS60 coin is a
