Nice pickups ! ....  Looks like a couple of those "toners" may be from being in coin folders. Interesting though how many collectors consider this PMD and wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole ! ....

Yeah, and I understand where they are coming from - but personally I love the uniqueness of them. I also come from an art background though, so I'm sure that plays a part in it.

Seeing the beauty in coins, brings out the "artist" in all of us I think ! But you're right about those beautiful rainbow toners....there's just somethin' about that look ! ...

Darth - The middle band doesn't make the cut (or should I say 'split'). It looks like the glare in the photo might be covering a split - but it's unfortunately not. It is a pretty decent strike though.

Beautiful coins! Very, very nice. And not only is the tone nice on the 1883 but she has a really nice strike as well.
